Here at Poteet Kennels it is our goal to insure the highest quality of breeding and standard of our breed. To keep a tradition of a long line of not only documented pedigree, but to promote the hunting beagle, To not forget that a trial dog and a hunting dog should be one and the same.
We are about protecting the reputation of not only our sport, but the reputation of the hunter. To take time to not only teach, but to involve the youth, as they
are our future, the ones that will not only carry on what the
ones before us have done, but to carry on what we have done.
(Keep in mind our sport has enemies organizations and movements.
You can be assured they are teaching there young there ways,
we need to do the same.)
We are a proud member of the Mid-West Gun Dog Association.
We do a full schedule of trialing through out the country,
although most of our schedule is AKC, we are also involved in many
UKC events, and many of are hounds have found success in ARHA, and PKC. We provide a number of options to the public From Stud services, proven running dogs, puppies, and although not clamming to be a full expert, advise. (For we can all learn something from each other.)
We will provide up to date schedule information, along with current
trial results. We will do our best to keep you updated on all the
current news and happenings in the beagle world. Again thank you
